If we truly believe that Jesus is the “Bread of Life,” there are certain ways we will respond to that iconic message. The Jews who heard Jesus’ discourse in John 6 were clearly disappointed in His fundamental statements about this first “I AM.” Do we struggle with the same ambivalence?
